Berserker Enemies

BerserkerEnemies repo

BerserkerEnemies mod enables “Berserker” mod for enemies. By default, they have a 10% spawn chance at level 9 or higher, however, you can configure that.

Features List

  • Once you hit a level nine, enemies can enter a deadly Berserker mode.
  • Berserkers gain a massive strength boost and become immune to stuns and damage – unless you decide to make them mortal.
  • If you allow them to be killable, they’re still extremely tough and can only be hurt or stunned by gunfire.
  • Defeating a Berserker drops a rare red orb with high value ($35,000) – but it’s fragile, so try not to fumble it.
  • Visually distinct, Berserkers glow and trail red smoke, announcing their presence with flair.
  • The reward orbs are custom-colored, shimmering red with an almost magical (and very breakable) finish.
  • The mod is fully customizable
  • It also supports monsters added by other mods, such as Wesley’s Enemies and Freddy Fazbear

See Changelog (1.2.8 onwards)

Version 1.3.4 expanded enemy compatibility by adding support for several popular enemy mods, increasing the chaos and variety of encounters. The supported enemies now include:

  • Baldi (from the Baldi Enemy mod)
  • The Moon (from the Zelda Moon Mod)
  • Robot (from Reterminator)
  • Rolling Giant (from Rolling Giant Enemy)
  • Zombie (from Minecraft Zombie Mod)
  • Driller (from Driller Killer)

Version 1.3.3 introduced a new system called Berserker Scaling, which allows the number of Berserkers to increase based on level progression. This dynamic feature includes several new settings:

  • Berserker Scaling (on/off): Enables or disables scaling.
  • Bypass Spawn Chance (on/off): Forces Berserker spawns when scaling is active.
  • Scaling Step: Controls how often (in levels) a new Berserker is allowed (default: every 10 levels).
  • Max Scaled Berserkers: Sets a cap on the number of scaled Berserkers (default: 5).

Some settings were reorganized, so players may need to revisit their configurations.

Version 1.3.2 fixed a bug where Berserkers could not be stunned, even if settings allowed it. Now, the “Stunnable” and “Unkillable” options no longer conflict.

Version 1.3.1 added experimental support for the L A T E mod, which is still a work in progress. Users are advised that full functionality may not yet be stable.

Version 1.3.0 resolved an issue where some enemies spawned without the Berserker script, ensuring all affected enemies behave correctly. Minor log tweaks were also made for better debugging.

Version 1.2.9 brought compatibility with Wesley’s “The Soldier” enemy mod, making him a valid Berserker target. It also fixed a bug where fall damage could stun Berserkers, which has now been corrected. Additional log improvements were made.

Version 1.2.8 introduced a new Berserker health scaling system that increases Berserker health based on level progression and the number of players. This feature is off by default but can be configured using two new settings:

  • Enable Scaling: Turns the feature on/off.
  • Scaling Value: Controls how much extra health is added per player per level.

This update also ensures that orb rewards scale accordingly, offering greater rewards for tougher challenges.
