This REPO mod enables movement after death by controlling your disembodied head. Hop around the dungeon, annoy your enemies or follow teammates to interact with them. To use in multiplayer, server and client have to install the mod.
Controls:
- Jump (Space): Bounce into the air.
- Movement Keys (WASD): Control jump direction.
- Tumble (Q): Reorient your head.
Version 2.0.0 introduced a major new feature: head upgrades. Players can now unlock upgrades for their head that grant special abilities, adding a new layer of progression and customization. One of these abilities is Charge, which allows players to perform a powerful attack that stuns enemies. Additionally, the Head Recharger item was added, enabling players to restore their depleted ability meter, enhancing the strategic use of abilities during gameplay.
In version 2.1.0, a new head power upgrade was added to further enhance base stats, such as jump force, ability meter capacity, and tether range. This upgrade also allows players to climb stairs using the Q key in combination with WASD movement. To balance these improvements, the base max ability power was slightly reduced, while the head charger battery amount was increased. This version also fixed an error related to pressing the ability button while alive.
Version 2.1.1 made minor adjustments, including a reduction in meows and fixes for charger battery material issues. In version 2.1.2, another fix was applied to address a missing charger battery material error.
In version 2.1.3, compatibility issues were resolved for the REPO beta release v0.1.2.21_beta, specifically fixing charger-related errors. Versions 2.1.4 and 2.1.5 addressed critical issues in the beta, including errors when the head charger battery was empty and a NullReference error related to playerDeathHead.
Version 2.1.6 fixed a gameplay bug where players could not jump until they were moved or pressed the Q key, improving early-game responsiveness, especially in the beta release.
Finally, version 2.1.7 fixed the mod for the REPO version 0.2.0.
