Freddy Fazbear (Enemy Monster)

The mod FreddyEnemy adds Freddy Fazbear (from Five Nights at Freddy’s) to R.E.P.O. This is a new monster you’ll have to deal with in the game. The mod also features loud noises, jumpscares, flashing lights, and plenty of twisted fun.

How Freddy Works:

Wanders like a normal enemy until he spots you—then turns invisible and starts stalking.
When he reappears, he malfunctions and enters a haywire state:
- Red Eyes: Look away immediately!
- White Eyes: Keep staring him down!
React fast or get jumpscared!

Configuration:

Includes a config option to disable flashing hallucination effects for sensitive players.

Version 1.0.3 fixed an issue where Freddy could cause a softlock during the HandleLeave phase, ensuring smoother transitions when he exits.

Version 1.0.2 improved Freddy’s behavior and polish. He now investigates nearby sounds like other enemies, making him more reactive. If stunned, he will always decloak and become grabbable, regardless of his state. Freddy also now checks for line of sight before attacking, preventing him from attacking through walls. Additionally, spark particles no longer appear through walls, improving visual consistency.

Version 1.0.1 made Freddy more active and balanced. His spawn weight was increased from 60 to 100, and his difficulty level was raised to 3 to improve how often he appears. Freddy can now attack multiple times, rather than just once, and he will cloak when leaving. Adjustments were also made to the durations of his Idle, Roam, Stalk, and Leave behaviors. While cloaked, Freddy will no longer collide with the player, and spark effects no longer show during cloaked states.
